Just a thought that came into my mind after chatting with a couple of friends, sometimes I think star power can blind or skew our perception of things don’t you think?

The School with a Lake : Chung Cheng High School
I was at Chung Cheng High School (Main) for a meeting one day. Apparently the Prime Minister was visiting the school. This is quite a big school, they even have a lake within its compounds!

Hong Kong : The Cabin | Cathay Pacific
28th December 2012.
Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong, People’s Republic of China.
After a swift security check I was cleared and able to explore Hong Kong airport freely again. (Incheon Airport should learn a thing a two from HKIA). Aware that Cathay Pacific’s the Cabin lounge was just renovated recently, I headed straight to the Cabin where I was greeted amicably by the receptionists there.
The Cabin is separated into two or rather four sections. There is one area where Apple computers are available for you to use along with some seating including the famed Cathay Solus Chair made by Poltrona Frau in Italy.
The other 3 segments are the Dining Area, Health Bar and Reading Area respectively. You could find the more of the famed Cathay Solus Chair which is very exclusive (but not power outlets) in the reading area.
The Dining Area is a must visit and food served here is actually very delicious. I particularly enjoyed their Stir-Fried Noodles and Fried Rice a lot. On that day, they also offered an array of dim sum including my favourite Char Siew Pau.
If you are really hungry you could also grab one those nicely wrapped sandwiches. Flavors include Tuna Fish Salad, Meat Loaf and a vegetarian option of Grilled Bell Pepper with Basil Pesto.
The Health Bar offers a comprehensive selection of alcohol and beverages but my attention was drawn to its Chinese Herbal Teas which are concocted according to the recipes by the Peninsula in Hong Kong. I picked their Imperatae Cane Drink which a very refreshing, mildly sweet drink with a hint of herbal flavours.
